Here’s the official PR from the club and some pics from the night..
We would like to invite you to the art gallery exhibition we are hosting for Walton Fine Arts. The Knightsbridge gallery will showcase the works of emerging artists; E$COBAR and Van Donna at Maddox Club.
Walton Fine Arts is a leader in recognising artists who will explode the pop/street art market, evidenced in the success of Bambi, dubbed “the female Banksy.” Bambi’s success has resulted in her referring to Rhianna, Brad Pitt, Adele, Robbie Williams and Harry Styles as clients, as well as members of Royal Families, Heads of States, CEO’s and prominent art collectors worldwide.
With more than twenty five years of experience in the art world and dealing in blue-chip artists such as Picasso, Andy Warhol and Banksy, emerging artists E$COBAR and Van Donna are in good company and have started to gain fame and fortune with sold out exhibitions in New York, Dubai, Riyadh (endorsed and franchised by members of the Saudi Royal Family) and Stockholm.
A bit about E$COBAR
E$COBAR’s tag name was inspired by the infamous Pablo Escobar and the recent adaptation of his life through the Netflix show, Narcos. Exploring the Western World’s culture, its values and contradictions, his works are often ironic takes on current topics or striking visual juxtapositions of contrasting yet intertwined elements such as love, money and power.
E$COBAR embraces the pop culture of Warhol and the street culture of Banksy together with powerful words and symbols to convey strong messages.
A bit about Van Donna
Van Donna was born from two iconic influences and heroes of the artist, Van Gogh and Madonna. Her artwork debuted at auctions in Christie’s London where original paintings sold for several thousands of pounds. The Faberge Museum in St. Petersburg is home to a selection of her artworks within their permanent collection.
Van Donna’s fan base includes Prince Harry and Ringo Starr who fell in love with “All You Need Is Love,” purchasing the piece for his personal collection.
