POP ART PIONEER Robert Indiana is one of the pre-eminent figures of American art and the last living legend from the Pop Art movement which included Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

His hard-edge abstract works, including a distinctive rendering of the word love will be on display at Walton Fine Arts.

Indiana, born 1928, came to prominence in the 1960s for employing the vernacular form of American road and shop sogns.

Robert Indiana: A Retrospective will be at Walton Fine Arts, 152-154 Walton Street, SW3 2JJ, September 19-October 31.
